Our Approach
We are a local assembly of believers both young and old who are passionate about fulfilling God’s mission on earth.
At Imitate Church, we stand firmly in the belief that the local church is God’s idea -a manifestation of Christ’s presence on earth. Just as our Lord Jesus Christ revealed Himself through His teachings, our Vision is also to continue to reveal Him by teaching His Gospel and equipping the Saints for the work of the ministry.

Bible Seminar
The Bible Seminar is an open teaching meeting that happens three times a year and brings together ministries and believers from different Churches, religious backgrounds and doctrinal persuasions for a full day investigative study of the scriptures.
Our Bible Seminars started in 2018 and since then we have reached over 2000 people with our unwavering commitment of Revealing Christ to our community of Ntinda. We have also extended our outreaches to universities and schools, connecting with believers with varying doctrinal backgrounds and persuasions as well as non-believers.
Since then, every year, we have remained faithful to this mission, consistently hosting three Bible Seminars within Kampala. Many individuals travel from different parts of Uganda to gather around the word of God. Through these teaching meetings, many lives have been impacted and many have testified of the transformative power of the word.
In each meeting, we gather between 250-300 people, reaching 800 to 1000 people in a year. Our goal in 2024 is to reach over 2000 lives in all our three gatherings. This calls for financial and mobilization support. We would like to mobilize individuals across the country and even outside Uganda.

Advanced Bible Class
The Advanced Bible Class started in 2020 after the pandemic/lock down (and since then we have reached over 1,150 people. These are majorly internal teaching meetings that happen monthly (eight times a year).
We gather individuals, ministers, and ministries to a half day study of the scriptures. In this meeting our mission is clear; to bring clarity and understanding addressing the seemingly contradicting topics/aspects in the bible. Our primary objective is to equip the body of Christ for the work of the ministry.
In 2024, we plan to reach about 1,200 ministers with training and provide materials.
